DJ Mag

Some of the biggest names in the music industry are from North American, and even the biggest events in the world take place in the US, Canada, and Mexico, and serve as an influence to everyone else. Many of these talented artists will be at the festival this summer, such as Zeds Dead, Adventure club, Loud Luxury, Felix Cartal, Keys N Krates and TIGA !

As usual, to highlight these talented individuals, DJ Mag has revealed the 2019 winners of their Best Of North America Awards. As with DJ Mag’s flagship Top 100 DJs poll, the results of these awards are thanks to the voters. The only category that wasn’t open to voters, and chosen by DJ Mag NA Staff, was Outstanding Contribution, which this year went to Richie Hawtin.

Zeds Dead

Canadian Duo Zeds Dead won in the “Best Producer” category and even said : “We really didn’t expect this, but are super thankful you guys like our music! We have tons of new music we’re rolling out in several projects to come so hopefully we live up to this!”

They just released a new track with Dion Timmer and Delaney Jane, ‘Rescue’, and we can’t wait to hear what they have in store. They will be doing a very special B2B with Jauz on June 22nd, but they will also be hosting the Deadbeats stage on June 23rd.

Deadbeats was dropping their 100th episodes of Deadbeats Radio on May 28th, with the set that Zeads Dead didn’t get to play at EDC on the bassPOD two weeks ago.

This is an hour of high octane throwbacks and classics ! With Zeds Dead, you’re getting a lot of 2011-2013 brostep and dubstep. Tracks like Stinkahbell’s ‘Something In Your Eyes (VIP)’ or Friction vs. Camo & Krooked’s remix of ‘Sweet Shop’ by Doctor P definitely still keep the old school sound alive !

Check out the full mix below, and congrats to Deadbeats and Zeds Dead on making it to 100 episode !
